In the large-scale painting Centuries of Hong Kong (2011), for instance, which is housed at the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, pale colours are dispersed across four plywood boards to form a seascape interrupted by mountains and a cluster of tall buildings; figures and trees are dotted across the land, while boats drift across the sea…
